Barnes VOR-TX Safari .458 Winchester Magnum 450gr Banded Solid Brass Round Nose Lead-Free 20/Box is designed to take down the most dangerous game in the world and utilizes Barnes' Banded Solid Brass Round Nose bullets (projectiles) which do not expand and are engineered to deliver heavy-hitting deep penetration on thick-skinned big game. The bands on the bullet shank serve multiple purposes which include engaging the rifling of the rifle to create a stable spin, seal the bore to prevent gas leakage, and center the bullet for improved downrange accuracy. The banded solid round nose bullet is engineered to not deform or disintegrate on impact, even while crushing through dense bone. Barnes' lead-free safari hunting ammunition delivers massive on-game lethality for quick humane kills. This ammunition is built for hunting dangerous game (300 to 1,500 lbs) including African cape buffalo, and American black bear. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
