Hornady BLACK .300 AAC Blackout Subsonic 208gr A-MAX 20/Box delivers the utmost in versatility and match grade accuracy, and is designed to fit, feed and function in a variety of firearm platforms including direct impingement, gas piston, suppressed, unsuppressed, inertia, bolt, pump, supersonic, subsonic, rifle, mid-length, carbine or pistol. This ammunition utilizes Hornady's A-MAX polymer tipped, boat-tail bullet (projectile) which features an ultra low drag bullet tip which raises the ballistic coefficient (BC) and precision balances the center of pressure relative to the center of gravity to achieve optimal in-flight stability. The geometric secant ogive bullet profile also provides flatter trajectories and provides optimum bearing surface. The swaged lead core provides excellent uniformity and balance resulting in consistent performance and increased accuracy. This ammunition utilizes Hornady's AMP bullet jackets which has virtually zero tolerance for concentricity and near zero wall thickness variation for enhanced reliability and performance. This ammunition is built specifically for target and competition shooting. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
Please Note: Subsonic ammunition is ideal for shooting through suppressors because they help reduce the sound signature. Subsonic rounds do not exhibit a supersonic crack making them quieter when shot through your favorite can. This ammunition does not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms.
