Federal American Eagle Indoor Range Training (IRT) 9mm Luger 70gr Flat Nose Lead-Free 50/Box is designed to deliver reliable functionality and accuracy while reducing the hazards of high-volume lead exposure. To reduce your exposure to lead, this ammunition utilizes Federal's Catalyst lead-free primer. Unlike DDNP-based lead-free primers, the exclusive Catalyst formulation is non-hygroscopic, offering the same reliability, shelf life and ballistics of conventional lead styphnate primers. To further reduce lead exposure during prolonged indoor range training, this ammunition utilizes lead-free bullets which produce similar splash-back as conventional jacketed lead on reactive targets, and provide unprecedented safety and training realism. This ammunition is built for target shooting. This ammunition is is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
Please Note: This ammunition is designed to reduce your exposure to lead while shooting. There are several other considerable ways to lessen your exposure to lead while shooting. While at an indoor or outdoor range, don’t eat, drink, or smoke. Wash your hands immediately after shooting, cleaning firearms, or picking up spent casings. After leaving the range, it is easy to carry home lead dust that settles on your body, clothes, shoes, and shooting gear. Use one pair of shoes and a set of washable clothes. Consider leaving your range clothes in your locker at the range if possible, or keep them in a plastic bag. Wash clothes worn at the range regularly and wash them separately from your other clothes and family laundry. Taking these minimal steps, including other steps that were not mentioned can help reduce your exposure to lead while shooting.
