Federal Premium .300 Winchester Magnum 185gr Berger Hybrid Hunter 20/Box utilizes Berger Hybrid Hunter bullets (projectiles) and couples the profile of a low-drag match bullet with a traditional hunting bullet. The weight of the bullet is fine-tuned to provide exceptional accuracy through factory rifles. Ballistic coefficients exceed those of comparable designs thanks to a hybrid nose design that combines tangent and secant ogive features. Upon expansion, the projectile sheds most of its weight producing extreme hydrostatic shock, resulting in quick, humane kills. This ammunition utilizes Federal's finest nickel-plated brass, Federal Gold Medal primers and specially formulated propellant for the best consistency and reliability. A portion of the proceeds of each sale of this ammunition go directly to the conservation effort of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The RMEF permanently protects crucial elk winter and summer ranges, migration corridors, calving grounds and other vital areas, while focusing on securing and improving hunter access throughout elk country. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including whitetail deer, and for hunting large game (300 to 1500 lbs) including black bear and elk. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
