Federal Premium Personal Defense PUNCH .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR) 29gr Nickel-Plated Lead Flat Nose 50/Box delivers a lethal "PUNCH" when the stakes are high and lives are on the line. This ammunition utilizes a nickel-plated lead-core bullet (projectile) which is engineered to deliver extreme velocities and optimized to deliver defense penetration through short-barrel handguns/pistols. This ammunition reaches a brisk muzzle velocity of 1070 FPS (Feet Per Second) through 2-inch handgun/pistol barrels and 1650 FPS through 24-inch rifle barrels. This ammunition utilizes nickel-plated cases which are corrosion resistant. Nickel-plated cases feed smoother than average brass cases due to its naturally lower friction than brass, which leads to smooth chambering and extraction. This ammunition is built specifically for defense purposes. This ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.
