HEVI-Shot HEVI-Hammer 12ga 3" 1-1/4 oz #4 Non-Toxic Steel Shot and Non-Toxic Bismuth Shot 25/Box contains a layer of steel pellets and a layer of bismuth pellets. Eighty-Five percent of the shell is loaded with steel pellets. The remaining fifteen percent of the shell is loaded with high density bismuth. The small but mighty leading edge of bismuth packs nearly 50% more lethal power than the steel layer at 40 yards. Bismuth is 22% denser than steel, and is one of the softest non-toxic shot types, making it safe for use in older fixed choke and classic double barrel shotguns. Bismuth shot is a great non-toxic alternative to lead and performs very similar to lead. This ammunition is built for hunting waterfowl. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, and reloadable.
