Hornady Custom Lite 12ga 2-3/4" 300gr FTX Sabot Slug 5/Box delivers reduced recoil and features almost 40% less felt recoil in comparison to standard 12ga slugs. This ammunition is loaded with the same 300gr FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) projectile (slug) used in the original SST shotgun slug. This ammunition exits the muzzle at a blistering 1575 FPS (Feet Per Second), yet the recoil is a mild and highly effective. This ammunition is capable of effectively taking whitetail deer out to 150 yards. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including whitetail deer and feral hogs. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable shells.
