Hornady Subsonic .45 ACP 230gr XTP Jacketed Hollow Point 20/Box delivers exceptional accuracy, increased range, and devastating terminal ballistics and utilizes tried-and-true XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullets (projectiles) that expand reliably at subsonic velocities and does not have the loud report of a supersonic round, and when paired with a suppressor, it’s even quieter. Unique powders are optimized for subsonic use result in a low flash signature, ideal for either suppressed or unsuppressed performance. This ammunition is built specifically for defense purposes. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
Please Note: Subsonic loads are ideal for shooting through suppressors because they help reduce the sound signature. Subsonic rounds do not exhibit a supersonic crack making them quieter when shot through your favorite can. These loads do not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms.
