Hornady Superformance 5.56x45mm NATO 55gr GMX Hollow Point Boat Tail Lead-Free 20/Box utilizes progressive propellants which boasts muzzle velocity increases of 100 to 200 feet per second (FPS) without extra chamber pressure, recoil, muzzle blast, loss of accuracy or extra fouling, and delivers superb accuracy, increased range, flatter trajectory, less wind drift and devastating terminal performance. This ammunition utilizes Hornady's Lead-Free GMX bullet which combines monolithic construction with a pioneering ballistic design to meet the need for a premium, non-traditional, lead-free bullet constructed of a copper/zinc alloy. This ammunition is built for hunting medium game (50 to 300 lbs) including antelope, whitetail deer, and feral hogs. This ammunition is Certified Nonlead, new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
