Hornady V-MAX .22 Caliber (.224 Diameter) 50gr Boat Tail 100/Box features a polymer tip and streamlined design resulting in flat trajectories and explosive terminal performance for hunting varmint sized game. The M-MAX bullet features a hollow cavity which rests between the bullet tip's shaft and body. Upon impact, the hard shaft builds up speed and energy before driving into the core, which causes all the key elements to rapidly expand, producing violent fragmentation, even at velocities as low as 1600 Feet Per Second (FPS). The concentricity of the Match Grade AMP bullet jacket provides maximum accuracy and further aides in explosive terminal expansion. These bullets are new production and non-corrosive.
