Speer Gold Dot Personal Protection .327 Federal Magnum 100gr Jacketed Hollow Point 20/Box delivers lethal, threat-stopping expansion and features a jacketed hollow point bullet which utilizes a patented process which forms the hollow point cavity in two stages. The pressure-formed lead core is bonded to the jacket which eliminates separation on impact for more retained weight and greater penetration. The core is pre-fluted to define the fault lines of expansion, controlling final diameter and retained weight. The second process finishes the cavity and controls the rate of expansion. This ammunition utilizes non-corrosive CCI primers, nickel plated brass, and select clean burning propellants which deliver optimum velocity while ensuring consistent chamber pressures. This ammunition is built for self-defense situations. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
