Hornady Precision Hunter 6.5mm Creedmoor 143gr ELD-X 20/Box delivers accuracy and terminal hunting performance on medium and large game. Verified by Doppler radar, the Heat Shield polymer tip defies the effects of aerodynamic heating and retains its shape to maintain the highest-in-class BC over its entire trajectory. Upon low velocity, 400+ yard impacts, the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. Exhibiting controlled expansion with a large mushroom and 85-90% retained weight, the bullet provides deep penetration and large cavities. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including deer. With proper shot placement, large game (300 to 1500 lbs) including elk and moose are obtainable. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.

Pronghorns Beware
I purchased this ammunition last year in the hope that I would some day get to go on a guided hunt in Wyoming. My dream finally came true. Thank you Hornady for making reliable hunting cartridges. Weighing in at 146 pounds, I took down my very first pronghorn. November hunting in Wyoming was quiet an experience.
