Maxim Defense .300 AAC Blackout Subsonic 190gr Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) Solid Copper Spun Lead-Free 20/Box is designed to produce optimized close-quarter defense velocities and terminal performance in short barrel rifles (SBRs). SBRs sometimes lack the velocities and terminal ballistics that rifles with longer barrels produce. Maxim Defense, in partner with Fort Scott Munitions made specific adjustments to produce ammunition optimized specifically for SBRs in close-quarter, home defense and personal defense situations. This ammunition features a non-lead, Solid Copper Spun (SCS) bullet and utilizes Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) bullet technology which produces ballistic wound cavities that exceed the standards of both expanding and fragmenting bullets. The design of the TUI bullet causes the bullet to tumble down to 500 Feet Per Second (FPS). In confined areas and close quarter defense situations, the TUI bullet is also designed to lose momentum, so it is less likely to cause collateral harm to bystanders or structures. This powerful subsonic round provides exceptional accuracy, and is also reliable for hunting. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.

Please Note: Subsonic loads are ideal for shooting through suppressors because they help reduce the sound signature. Subsonic rounds do not exhibit a supersonic crack making them quieter when shot through your favorite can. These loads do not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms. With the use of a suppressor, your firearm will see dramatically reduced noise and recoil. This round will cycle with and without a suppressor, but Maxim Defense highly recommends using one. This round will also cycle without gun manipulation and will work in most builds. When using a suppressor, Maxim Defense has found this to be one of the quietest functioning rounds. This ammunition meets and follows SAAMI guidelines and standards.
