Winchester Bismuth 12ga 3" 1-3/8 oz #1 Buffered Non-Toxic Shot 25/Box features spherically uniform, tin-plated bismuth shot which delivers devastating high-energy performance on target. Bismuth is 22% denser than steel, and is one of the softest non-toxic shot types, making it safe for use in older fixed choke and classic double barrel shotguns. Bismuth shot is a great non-toxic alternative to lead and performs very similar to lead. To ensure the shot exits uniformly, this ammunition utilizes buffering material, which typically consist of a synthetically manufactured soft material that fills in the spaces between the pellets/shot inside the shotshell. When a shotshell is fired, the pellets/shot exit the barrel, the buffering material keeps the pellets in a uniform, spherical pattern, which further enhances directional accuracy and downrange energy. This ammunition is built for hunting waterfowl, specifically geese. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, and reloadable.
